Mykola Tomenko: "The next plenary week at The Verkhovna Rada should become a week devoid of politics".
Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that in the next plenary week, The Verkhovna Rada should adopt a number of Bills appertaining to stabilization of socioeconomic and financial situation in Ukraine.
"The next plenary week should be at least proclaimed a week devoid of politics at the Parliament, and all Factions should scrutinize only the Bills of socioeconomic and financial nature", - supposes Mykola Tomenko. He believes that on the one hand, such Bills should aim at the search for safeguards and possible protection of people who are dismissed due to the crisis. On the other hand, they should give incentives to the national economy in such a difficult situation.
The Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also stated that in the period of financial crisis the Parliament can not keep aloof from this issue. Therefore, the Bill on Restriction of Expenditures for the Upkeep of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Privileges of the People´s Deputies should be the first to be scrutinized in the next plenary week.
